Amigo's Cactus & Plants is a home based garden nursery, on Wiradjuri County in the Riverina Region of NSW.

We make hybrid cactus seed for growers who are keen to try growing something new and exciting and who love the satisfaction of growing a unique plant from a tiny seed.
We sometimes make “risky” crosses, no risk no reward, right? Sometimes making these kinds of risky crosses means that plants will grow variegated or with less vigour than some other crosses, it can be hard if to predict sometimes, although some plants become known to produce seed like this over time.
Pollinations are carefully controlled to ensure the cross is made exactly as described. We cover the flowers with bags before they open and then put them back on following pollination, to keep any insects out. Where possible, pollinations are all conducted indoors too, as an extra control measure.
Our seeds are cleaned and the floating (less fertile) seeds separated three or four times at least, and sometimes even more.
While growing cactus from seed isn’t super hard, things can go wrong in growing setups from time to time. There’s a bunch of YouTube videos on the “takeaway tek”, we recommend you check them out as there’s some great resources out there to learn from.
We cannot provide a refund for seeds that have been sown, we cannot provide a refund for change of mind, we can provide a refund if the seeds arrive damaged or if we send the wrong ones. We package all our seeds in bubble wrap, so damage is highly unlikely and will more than likely be an issue with Australia Post if it does happen.
We aim to send out all orders within 3 business days of receiving them. All packages sent in Australia are sent with tracking and sent via Australia Post.
